Pc problems.

February 25th, 2014

Been having a little trouble with my pc lately. Tried to play dead island and I got an error code. It’s a continuous beep. Everything looks fine on my pc. It’s no where near hot and running just fine. Funny thing is I didn’t have my speaker in while it was beeping. Any one know what it could be?

I have the latest drivers. Got the game from I am Awesome, and it runs perfectly fine. I get to where I choose a person to play and it goes off. Also, I tried playing The Witcher 2 it went off. Though it was after ~30min of playing the game whereas Dead Island I don’t even get 30 seconds.
Answer #7
do you need a hard reboot after the beep or can you close the game and get to the desktop ?
it always beep in the same place in both games ?
after ~30min of playing the game
this sounds like overheating
can you remove and reseat the video card ?

I can get back to the desktop and close the game. It doesn’t beep in the same place and the temp has not gone over 55C, I wouldn’t consider that overheating. I will try reseating the graphics card and see if that does anything later today and report back results.
Edit: I have reseated the graphics card and it still keeps happening. Seems that when the card hits 53C it starts to beep. It won’t stop until I tab out of the program.
