HTC Thunderbolt

January 11th, 2014

Hello, is there such a thing as “jailbreak” for an HTC Thunderbolt? Sorry, I am use to only having the iPhone and now I just got an HTC Thunderbolt and its awesome and was wondering how I could do this. And it isn’t called jailbreak can you link me on a tutorial on how to do it thanks.

Did you try any of the guides on Google?

Well, I searched in google but as I said my first time trying to do this with an android and I thought unlocking a phone means you can use it for other carriers, not like jailbreak in which you can use pirated apps.
Answer #3
Sigh.
Jailbreaking does not mean you can use pirated apps…it’s a byproduct.
Jailbreaking gives you root access to your iDevice–as a result, you can customize any facet of it, and access any part of the firmware–as a result, pirated apps can be installed.
Anyway–for Android devices, gaining access to the root of the device is, oddly enough, called rooting.

Sorry for double post, but when I download Apps from here(Warez-BB) do I have to have a rooted iPhone? because the topics here doesn’t have any specific instructions but to put it on the SD Card and install it using a 3rd party file manager, and Also What are the pros/cons of rooting? Sorry for all these questions its really my first time having an android phone, and for the link that prozac gave me it’s very specific but I don’t get the Gingerbread/Froyo and Roms stuff they were explaining they only explained how to install it. Thanks for ready.
