What CFW does the PS3 come with when bought at the store?

If I were to buy a PS3 at the store right now what CFW would I most likely get and is that firmware possible for me to play downloaded games?

you wont get a CFW, you will get OFW and it will probably be on the latest FW. and no you cant play downloaded games with this OFW.

proberly 3.70 now depending on how long the ps3 has been sat on the shelf. The only other way is to buy a used one off ebay with 3.55 or ask the seller what firmware it has on it. And no there currently is no way to downgrade!

First of all it does not COME WITH CFW cfw stands for CUSTUM FIRMWARE it comes with what is called an OFW or an OPEN FIRMWARE…
