Reistalling Windows XP Mediacenter.
May 27th, 2014
I bought 5 years ago a desktop Acer Aspire E380-GE74 with AMd 64×2 and so on.
With Windows XP MediaCenter E2005.
(I love it)
But for a month ago the harddisk crashed. I got a backup for most of my stuff so that is ok.
But I can not find my rescue CDs. (It might have been useless anyway because the rescue center on my hard drive is gone)
I tried a clean install with an other Windows XP MCE (found her) but it won’t accept my produckt key from the original XP.
Is there anyone who can give me an idea of what I can do?
Can I ask Microsoft/Acer for new software?
Or do I need to purchase new software?

So what? Just use a different serial and a WGA crack,It’d work just the same!

Why don’t you just download a pirated version of Windows Media Center and install it?
