downloaded COD Black ops
4 1gig archives came corrupted
Downloaded
a HD movie
50% of files came corrupted
Downloaded two three other things and almost 30% of rar files come corrupted always and the links were from trusted uploaders.
Can anyone throw some light on the problem>? damn thing is getting on my nerves.. have wasted almost 15gb of bandwith since yesterday..

If you use a download manager like idm or USDownloader reinstall them, if you don’t use a download manager I don’t know.
I had the same problem once , it was caused by USDownloader.

IDM works fine mate. I’m not sure why are you facing the problem. Did you try any other files? May be files are corrupt
yea.. tried many.. as i stated almost 30-35% files came corrupted..
tried downloadin from iphone directly still came corrupted but randomly.. not the same files..
but when i tried extracting 2 movies using 7zip they extracted perfectly… can the problem be in the connection?
i use a 3g connection for downloading..
Try updating/reinstalling idm been great for me for years

7zip worked… movies from corrupted archives extracted by 7zip work flawlessly… Game am extracting and then wil try to install so lets see..
So you reinstalled your download manager? And with 7zip or Winrar everything works?
If it works fine with 7zip or Winrar it’s obviously your download manager.
no. winrar gives problems crc failed… 7zip also says corrupted archive but extracts it and it works..
CRC Failed errors have solution if the file is having a Recovery Record that can be checked after opening the Archive and clicking over info ! and if it does have Recovery record you have chances to repair the Archieve..
