£400 Laptop

What is a good laptop I can get for £400. It will be for my sister, but it should be capable of playing 1080p movies, play games (nothing to high-end, just stuff like Portal 2 and if possible CoD:BO).
Any ideas? UK sites please

A little over. But this is a bit biased considering I highly rate HP products. I think your sister would like the design too.
Playing games is always a harder question in terms of cheap laptops..

You want brand new or second hand ?
You can often get some good bargains on Craigslist here in the UK, and you can check it’s working before you hand over your cash.

Samsung RV511 also has hdmi ports to incase you want to watch HD movies through your Tv
