InDesign CS5 problem

October 26th, 2013

Hi!
I just installed InDesign CS5. I have used the program on this laptop before.
But… When I’m working stuff disappears. Like icons, but also images I placed. So I can basically place an image and move it around and stuff but I can’t see what I’m doing. Also those grids disappear. When I zoom out or zoom in it all reappears.
To me it looks like an videocardproblem, but on my school computers (old ones) InDesign works fine…
Does anyone have a solution for this really annoying problem?
Thanks!

P.s. I have an Acer Aspire 8930 (Nvidea GeForce 9600M GT)

Try upgrading to CS5.5 and see if this is any better….I think InDesign can be buggy like that sometimes. Even
updating the CS5 may help you. What build is it?
Answer #2
Build is 7.0.4.
I’ll try to upgrade tomorrow. There are no new updates
The strange thing is that I can’t even find the problem description on Google. Usually those problems tend to be quite common.
Answer #3
Yeah there is not alot…I just had a look. Another thing you can try before upgrading to CS5.5 is resetting youre preferences.
Have a read of this….
