Sony HDR CX115 help?

November 8th, 2013

Hey guys
My dad just bought this handycam and he’s left it up to me to learn all about it.
Does anyone know any good tutorial sites? The main thing i want to know is how to watch 1080p video files from the computer on the tv and also what to convert AVCHD to without losing too much quality.
Please help a total noob

You could start off by reading the instruction manual that came with it, they are usually helpful
They are not very hard to use anyway these days. You’ll need a decent size SDHC card with it (32gb).
You can use Avid or Premiere Pro to edit. Handbrake is a good converter. (Not sure if Freemake will handle those files, never tried)
Just experiment with different converters until you get the quality you want.

smart ass lol
I have read that but it doesn’t tell you about watching from your pc to the tv, only from cam to tv.
Thanks for the tips on the converter
