Is this possible or not?

October 19th, 2013

Alright, my problem isn’t so much a problem as it is a preference. I pride myself that I can take care of myself, but with this one I don’t know for sure it is even possible.
Just to make this clear, I’m running windows 7 64 bit.
Now, when you right click on your main screen, you have all sorts of options. Now, when you go over them with your mouse each option ‘lights’ up. It’s light greyish.
Now, when you activate the windows classic theme, you do the same thing only the color is a dark blue with white letters.
I want this in my windows seven theme. I tried messing with the options but none of it come close to what I want.
Remember, it is the BACKGROUND that I’m talking about. Activate the windows classic theme and then the windows seven theme to compare. If needed I’ll upload an image on rapid share or something so you can see what I’m talking about if you don’t know now.
Thanks!!

Answer #1
1. Right click on desktop
2. Select Personalize
3. Click Window Color
4. Click Advanced Appearance Settings
5. Choose Selected Items from the drop down and choose your color
I’m not sure about this, could be another item from the dropdrown (cross reference the 2 themes to be sure)
Answer #2
it’s not any of that. my brother thought so too. It’s possible that it is impossible with the windows seven theme
Answer #3
It seems that it actually is the Menu option, but that it’s indeed not possible with aero themes.
This might help to customize it a bit:
