halo 2 xp crack problem

when i use the loader i can run the game, i am in the menu then, but when i want to load a map, the game does not freeze but it also not crashes.. nothing happens actually
this game does not work on my pc but it does work on my brothers pc…wtf?
when i had windows vista installed the game worked very good! what should i do?

If your game just stops working, looks like your computer might have some problem running direct x.
