Answer #3
I used to use Bucharchiv Ultimate. It has everything I want in a eBook manager but I don’t like how slow it loads and how it hangs when adding a new eBook, and everytime you close it, it crashes under Windows 7 (and Vista) 64-bits. It’s buggy. I’m still searching for a eBook manager like Bucharchiv but one that works smoother but I haven’t found it yet. Even open source Source Forge has nothing good. I have 864 Ebooks. In lieu of using a software to manage them in the meantime, I found that the best way to manage my eBooks was to classify them using a combination of the Dewey Decimal Classification system and Library Of Congress Classification system, creating folders accordingly, then simply using Acrobat to open them up. I can find any book under any subject quickly.
Here’s my system (and it can be expanded as Ebooks are acquired with new subjects):

Answer #5
Thank you all.
I am using Alfa Ebooks Manager at the moment.
It’s better than ‘my ebook library’ and ‘Bucharchiv Ultimate’, I think.
Answer #6
I’m going to look into that Alfa Ebooks Manager. Thank You and happy new year!
Answer #7
The only software i use with regards to PDF's is Foxit Reader.
This is a small very fast .pdf loader, for windows machines i always use this one.
Once you DL a .pdf i would recommend you use a converting app to remove any unwanted issues from it. e.g removing embedded files and java scripts, .pdf can contain some nasty viruses, apart from that they are a great format with many benefits.
Hope this helps.
