Buying new PC monitor [SOLVED]

I am in the process of buying a new monitor for my PC. I have been looking into 2 different monitors but i do not know which one is the best choice.

Second one is the Samsung SyncMaster P2450H

It’s go�ng to be used for gaming and movies.
Anyone know which is the better choice?

They are both pretty good. I would go for your second one; the 24″ LCD, its bigger. They both have 2ms delay so thats ok

i have the PX2370 and I love it, so I would say whichever you choose, you will love it. Especially if it is your first widescreen.

just take note that larger LCD monitors with hight resolutions, will make the computer work harder…just like in games; higher resolution, more guts needed

I have ended up ordering the PX2370, i hope a cable is included
My old 19 ” CRT monitor has been running for 9 years before it crashed, it’s gonna be great to begin downloading 1080p movies and watching them and playing GTA IV, hell even doing homework.

watching 1080p requires a strong system, like said, the higher the resolution the more demanding.

I got it by mail today. The picture is a dream to look at and what a difference it was to play GTA IV this night too :O
It’s connected to a Core 2 Duo 3.00 Ghz
2GB RAM.
