Sciee.exe missing on bootup?

Whenever I start my PC just before the log on screen where you type your password etc, I get an error with a screen just like check disk is starting, but it says Sciee.exe or SOMETHING, is missing. I havent got the exact name.
Anyone help?

id say u try a system restore, insert the winxp/winvista cd, boot it, choose system restore, and hope for the best ;D

I think the exact name is SSifrr.exe maybe wrong, or muddled up it flashes up for 1 second.
