LAN query(solved)

I have set up a connection between my laptop and PC using a cross wire When i checked in cmd i got this

I think this shows that both of them are connected.
Now,then how to transfer files from one to the other and also for LAN gaming also
please tell me what to do.

you need to enable file sharing on them both, use windows help to find out how.
Then you can setup shared folders on each of them. After doing this copy the files you want to transfer into the shared folder. Then go to start menu and click on run (in XP) or just type the following in search in Vista:
\\192.168.1.2
This should bring up the shared folder on the other computer and you can then transfer files into this by drag and drop. You can also do the same in vice versa.
