What could I do with such computer?
hmmm , sell it off dude , just keep the hDD , EVERYTHING ELSE SEEMS WORTHLESS (EXCEPT THE HDD AND MONITOR)
Set it up as a web server?
I leave two sugestions:
- Buy a TV card, connect the PC to a TV and use it as a Media Center.
- If you have +2 PC’s at home, use it to replace your router. Install a nice Linux distro on it, a firewall, a DHCP server, share some folders, …
turn it into a beast…
Use it on your network as a file server. Mess around with it, try web server, linux or just set it on fire?
Give it to a local charity
i like suggestions.
HTPC(XMMC, Mythbuntu) or network attached storage(FreeNAS).
ive got an old HP eVectra EPC and im working on turning it into a very complicated bedside clock
how many people can say “My alarm clock runs windows embedded?”
well it does still serve a useful purpose for when the current pc screws up and you need to get quick help. Or you could let your parents use it and test stuff on it
