Answer #1
did you try restarting the ‘puter’? or restarting the router? or even just waiting for a few minutes?
your ‘puter’ probably isn’t the problem unless you changed something.
Answer #2
yep tried all that nothing coming up…so we are trying to reinstall as the phone company says there is no issue with htem just trying to get around this admin part
Answer #3
Try turning everything off at the wall. Then turn back on again. Sometimes it can be an easier solution. (Instead of trying to reinstall everything) Good luck!
Answer #4

Answer #5
Maybe its a problem in your area’s networks ?
Call your ISP.

Answer #7

Try resetting your modem to the default settings. Then put back any special settings that you have on it so it will work properly. Sometimes my modem takes a crap and it will only load some sites. Resetting it won’t work, even if I pull the power cord out. I have to reset the settings and then it works fine. The only problem is that this occurs about once a month. If the internet works on another computer when you plug it into the modem, then the fault is with the computer. Otherwise it is the modem or something else in the system like your ISP or the site that you are trying to access.
As far as the admin account goes, there is almost always default admin account that is named “admin”. If the computer logs into a default account automatically, then you should be able to log in to it by logging off the main user and logging in as “admin”. There might be a password, depending on who installed the OS. If you got the computer pre-installed with Vista and you haven’t re-installed it yourself since then, consult the documentation that came with the computer and it should tell you the admin password. I know there is a bootable CD that can reset the password on Windows XP, but I’m not sure if there is one for Vista. You can try this at last resort. If that doesn’t work, format the computer and reinstall Vista. This always works, until something screws it up again that is
By the way, what particular error are you getting when you try to connect to the internet?
What browser are you using?
What is the LAN setup?
