Bad spyware/virus problem

August 5th, 2016

Please help…
I some how have a spyware/virus or something that is incredibly annoying.
It redirects me to different pages on the internet, restarts my computer at 5 minute intervals and pretends to be Windows telling me to buy a $50 AntiSpywareXP 2009 program.
I’ve tried to install SuperAntiSpyware, but I can’t for some reason. I tried AVG but after working once, the virus came back and some how its blocked the program from loading.
I downloaded Spyware Doctor of this site, but it doesn’t work because I can’t update the malware tables or something.
Has anyone ever experienced a similar problem and can help, or suggest to me an anti spyware program that can help?
Thanks in advance!

1. Download combofix from here
http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe
2. Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts to install the recovery console ONLY if you have XP SP2/SP3.
3. When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log in your next reply.
Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix’s window whilst it’s running. That may cause it to stall.

Hello

  • Download SmitFraudFix from the link below
    http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix.exe

  • Reboot into Safe mode by rapidly pressing F8 before the Windows loading screen
  • Run SmitFraudFix. Press 2 and it will start cleaning. If asked to do a registry clean answer yes
  • It will come back with a log (rapport.txt) found at the root of the system dir (C:\)
  • Boot back into normal Windows and post the contents of that log file in a [code] box in this thread. I’ll give you further instructions
  • If you cannot download SmitFraudFix say so as the spyware might block it from being downloaded

Good luck
Edit: Gah

I swear tdssserv is out to get me.
The newer variant of this rootkit restarts your machine, blocks website access, and you get fake alerts from the smitfraud.
Answer #10
Damn. tdssserv is everywhere it seems
Download and install Malwarebytes’ Antimalware
http://www.google.com?t=1592461
Install it. Run it and do a quick scan with it. Make sure you select everything and delete it. It might require a reboot so do it.
Under logs there’ll be a scan report. Paste the contents here
