CPU Advice

Hi I want to upgrade my CPU.
At the moment I have got a
Intel E4500 core 2 duo in my PC.
Any advice on what to buy?
It has to be a skt LGA 775 processor BTW

You will just be upgrading to something you will want to be upgrading again soon enough.
Wait until you can replace motherboard cpu and ram.

This thread is obviously a big waste of everyone’s time,You can’t just go all guns blazing and say “I wanna upgrade”,It doesn’t
work like that,You need to lay down the foundations before you can start building if you know what I’m saying,There are a number
details you haven’t mentioned,Such as:
A) The main issue,Why do you wanna upgrade? Is your PC struggling doing a certain something? Be specific!
B) Your PC specs. (There’s more to it then just the CPU obviously)
C) Your country & Budget.
Without answers to these questions,You can’t be helped!

If you are not planing on changing that socket go for a Q9650 if you can find one and overclock that sucker it will kill every I5 out there. But if you change your mind witha new board go for the I7 and 6gb 1600mghz ram.
