What is a good program to secure a usb stick drive?

just bought a 4gb stick drive to store some personal data. How do I secure it or lock it down so that if I ever lost it- nobody can access the data without a password or something… Are there programs to do that?

i think u should use some programs that ENCRYPT and DECRYPT the files
maybe someone will explain u better

best prgm is NewSoftwares ‘USB Secure’. But it is not found in appln listings. Can any one post that program?

Encryption is the most secure form of protection. You could try TrueCrypt, its open-source and free. www.truecrypt.org

But the new release of ‘USB Secure’ is very simple to use and highly secure. That come from the maker’s of Folder Lock.

hello , thanks for ur reply. USB flash security is a good program, but none of the downloads is working at all.If only working one available it would be good.
I am still wondering ,why this ‘USB Secure’ is not at all available through out the web.It is a very nice program.
