Adding Syndicate To Steam Games Library

Does anyone know how to add this game to your games library in Steam?
I can add the .exe ok by going to Add Non-Steam Game etc etc but when I launch it, it doesn’t do anything.
The only reason I want to use it because I can have Steam Overlay functionality.
