Ipod touch 8 gb 3.1.2

hello
I want to jailbreak my ipod touch Fw 3.1.2 8 gb
I already tried blackra1n but when i shut down my ipod touch.
it goes back to recovery mode .
and i can’t use it anymore .

dosent work too well with windows 7

Your iPod is probably a 3rd Generation Model (Go to Settings > About > Model No). If it starts with “MC”, its 3rd Gen, and, the Jailbreak for that is tethered, i.e., when you switch it off, you will have to rejailbreak it for it to work. You will have to follow the process you used to jailbreak it, only then it will start. As of now, there is no untethered Jailbreak (One in which you can switch off and retain the JB) for the iTouch 3G

Do the tether jailbreak for now mate, i used blackra1n to jailbreak my ipod touch 32gb 3rd gen. you don’t need to switch it off anyways ;p
