Answer #1
I dont have one anymore but i used to have one and i rate them much more than the ipod. I mean basically with this your looking at full on entertainment, i used to download dvd rips and just bang them straight on for a bus journey or whatever i was up to.
Definitly recommend, the only reason i sold mine is because i was skint and i got me a w810i and found myself listening to music on that all the time instead

I’ve had my Vision M for about a year now, and I love it! I just bought my wife a pink one for Christmas to replace her Nano that only works when it feels like it, and she uses it every day on the train to work. She loves it as well. I had an Iriver that was stole from my truck, and I bought the Vision to replace it. I’m actually glad it was stolen because I would have never known how great the Vision is. Good choice!
BTW, I suggest the audio/video cable. When I download a movie from this site, I just load to the Vision and watch it on my TV. The quality is great.

thanks people, I appreciate the answers
Answer #4
i had an ipod and then str8 away rid of it, i do not like the way you put songs on or anything. so i guess you made the right choice
Answer #5
i’would chose for the creative! iPod is a good alternative when you only use iTunes
Answer #6
Creative players aren’t exactly the cream of the crop, but it performs very well. I myself have a Creative Zen V which use a stripped-down version of the vision M, and I love it.
Answer #7
Good choice… I have a Creative Zen V. and its great it can more stuff than ipod…
Answer #8
I have the Zen: Vision M. I also have an Ipod Nano. While the ipod performs well for me, i HATE itunes, and with ipod comes itunes. with my vision M, i get videos, music, the whole shebang. i also get to use WMP =)
I really love my Zen: Vision M, but when i shake it, there’s something in it that’s loose and is shaking. ALso, when you get dust under the screen, it’s basically there forever, and nothing you can do about it. recently i went back to my nano, it’s smaller, lighter, and no dust. But I stil love the vision M, and i would recommend that any day over and ipod

I have oen and its really good. no major issues or anythign with it yet. I have only used about half the space on it. Video quality is really good to.
Answer #10
I have the Creative Vision:W 60 GB and I can tell you that it kicks ipod’s ass! I love it
Answer #11
wait till the 6g ipod.
Answer #12
Zen Vision M or wait ’till tomorrow, they’re announcing new iPods.
Answer #13
I have a Vision M and I find it more “comfortable” and from what I hear, the Vision M seems to be more durable and dosnt screw up (except the occasional anoying freeze) as much as the Ipods. In my opinion, the Vision M is great.
Answer #14
iPod Classic 80gb dam can’t wait. Creative Zen suck! my friend has one and well lets just call it the fifth replacement.
Answer #15
I got the 60gb, and it kicks ass.
Answer #16
I’ve got the vision m to. The looks are less then the looks from an Ipod but the performance is so much better. it kicks ass indeed
Answer #17
The Vision M is a much more versatile product than the Ipod, It supports more file formats, transfers much faster because there is no need for conversion before transfer and lets not forget that it has a built in mic and fm tuner (with ability to record from radio) with I believe 32 presets. And from my experience, Creative Tech support has been more than accommodating with the average response time of an email request of about 1 -2 days.
Overall I would go for the Creative, I have a Zen Micro (8GB) and have had it longer than most of my friends have had their new Ipods, its a brick and will survive just about anything you throw at it!
Hope that helps!
Answer #18
I have a zen vision M 30gb for music and a 60gb for movies (along with 5gb for ebook and work storage). I have to say the Ipod has nothing over creative zen vision M. There are several reasons, the shortcut button (for slackers in school who aren’t allowed to watch video can easily watch movies then hit the shortcut button to music if teacher walks up), the easy transfer (if codec won’t go you can use virtual dub mod to quickly convert to xvid (never convert using converter if you have a 40 inch + tv it’ll be pixelated. The only reason I can think someone is on their 5th vision M replacement is if they are clumsy, buying it from people rather then a store, or a fool unwilling to acknowledge theres a reset button (does ipod even have one?)
Answer #19
i have one 2 and im really proud at it. it works perfect
Answer #20
I don’t really like Zen’s but some of them are pretty good. I have a 30GB Zune which I like so much more than iPods (They are overrated and for a fact most of the kids at my school got them just because “They look cool” and “my friend had one so I got one”)… I really like the Zune, I recommend it. Although it has a hard drive, and the battery is kind of crappy, its still a really nice Mp3 player.
Answer #21
just go with a zune, you can’t go wrong.
Answer #22
creative ZVM -like mine can have MAJOR conectivity problems and have crap cutomer services-despite that…the player itself is ok-however make sure yours has the FM Radio function as a few of us(sadly me) have odd ones that creative pretend dont exist that do not have that function. i Still am having problems with mine try to get ti to connect to laptops, desktops are ok….
Answer #23
Don’t they are crap.
Answer #24
Don't they are crap.
And, why is that ?
Answer #25
iPod Classic 80gb dam can't wait. Creative Zen suck! my friend has one and well lets just call it the fifth replacement.
well he has bad luck then. I own 3 gens of creative players (original muvo, zen micro 5gb,zen vision: m 30gb) they all still work great.
Answer #26
got the creative zen vision:m 60gb and i can tell is ~ censored ~ great mate!
Answer #27
Yeah, I seriously cannot fault my 30gb Zen Vision M. It’s perfection….. Well except for the dongle.
And, this is coming from someone who has had an ipod before. The Zen Vision M is in a league of its own. So yep, Don’t hesitate with it…. That is if you can find one. I Believe Creative has discontinued them
Answer #28
I agree ZEN Vision M is great . I have mine for about one year and I havent had any problems with it so far . Its a bit bulkier then IPod but I dont care.

is I think even better then Vison M or Ipod cuz it has everything like Vision M but its small.Of course you cannot compare it with IPod Touch which has his own league.

Yeah, the new player is nice obviously.. But having no TV- Out is a real bummer. I would probably get one otherwise.
