Mounting in iso file

September 5th, 2013

I am installing the Sims 2. It had four discs and i had to mount all four(with daemon tools). Now i would just like to know if i can unmount all of them and still be able to play or do i need to leave one mounted or all of them?
I would really like to be able to just unmount all of them and delete the four isos after installation and still be able to play the game.

Answer #1
You mount the iso to install the game..
To play the game you need to apply the crack..

Depends on the game. You can install the crack and see if the ISO still need to be mounted in order to run the game. If not, you can delete them (though I’d hold on to them as cheap as storage is nowadays). If the game doesn’t run, you probably just need to mount the first ISO.
Answer #3
If you downloaded it from this forum then it must of came with a crack and they usually let you play the game without having the ISO mounted
Answer #4
Yes i did install it with a crack and everything. I’ll just have to stick with mounting one iso, because that works fine. Thanks guys!
Answer #5
If any game asks you to mount/run the game disk while playing, just search for a NO CD crack for the game so that they do not seek the CD while running.
