weird thing “registerdefender” popped up out of no

a 2nd window just popped up asking if i want to add registrydefender addon to firefox,but i didnt go to any unusual website,and i obviously didnt click it, i just exited it out,but it popped up again,
i have nis 2008 uptodate,
is there a way for me to detect if it infected my pc,and if yes remove it?

Registry Defender isn’t malware, but just a really annoying program. If I were you I’d uninstall it like you would any other program and then scan your PC – a decent AV will suffice for protection of your PC anyway

to make sure it doesn’t happen again, block scripts from this site using Noscript/adblock plus. i know people and myself have had problems with viral advertising redirecting you to malware sites that execute nasty scripts.

i dont have registry defender installed,also when i start up firefox it redirects to a different site,
im scanning my pc now with
malwarbytes anti-malware
superantispyware
spyware doctor
and my nis 2008,
is that enough are they good programs to get rid of malware,and spyware?
also i used unhackme and it claimed it detected a malware,is it an accurate program?
