ive seen several tutorials on this site but id guess u would need to change mkv to avi to do it not very sure tho t

Oonly way to get a 3d movie is if the Makers of the movie has released one… you cannot make it your self either, because Like Our Eyes we have 2 of them that makes the world look 3d… and 3d movies use 2 cameras filming the movie.. so you have to have 2 different angles to make it 3d.(two versions of the movie but offset camera angles on one)

Yes, james cameron spent millions on a movie to make it full 3D when he could just have used a program with the red and blue thing!
never heard abt that.. whts so special abt it? i mean is it very much different than the movies we see?
Moved from Off-Topic to Helpdesk.
No, you can’t do the 3d glasses thing from an existing movie:
–> The 3d movie is made up of alternating frames from two different cameras, the 3d glasses shutters left and right eye to match the frames – our brain (such as it is) reintegrates the left frame/right frame into a full 3d image, like real life.
Yes, you can make a movie 3d with red/blue glasses but:
–> A) it’s not really 3d, all you’ve done is made it look deeper all over (not 3d images on a background), again you need 2 separate cameras to give the effect properly.
–> B) it looks like crap anyway – you lose proper colours with the cast of the lenses, and you’ll end up with a headache before the movie is over.
3D movies are made with two cameras, to simulate the slightly different viewpoint of each eye.
There is no way you can convert a normal movie file to have two viewpoints….
