Mass edit TV Show season?

Looking to be able to cut out the first minute of each episode to take out the intro. Would make viewing much more pleasant and cut down the size of each episode. Any ideas?

what format are the files ?
AVI ? MKV ?
some video players offer a “scene cut editor” that can hide parts on a video

Use the 2.6 Experimental version, they can handle mkv’s better than the stable version but it is beta which can be slightly buggy.
