hi i live in uk and i want to order iphone 3g s from apple store in usa .plz any one can tell me if the iphone 3g s work in uk on o2 sim card or any uk sim card or i need to unlock the iphone to work in uk sim card .i want to ask other question i want to know if the apple store in usa doing order to uk.

I’m sure if you have AT&T in th eUK then it would work other then that you would have to unlock it in order for it to work on other providers then AT&T.

Why would you want to order from the usa, when it will also be available in the UK…..and as for the unlock, nobody knows yet since the iphone 3gs is being released this friday.
And as far as i know the iphone’s official UK carrier is O2, if you want to use any sim other than the O2 sim then you will need to unlock it.

Iphone 3GS is out at carphone warehouse in UK tomorrow, drove past one of there shops half an hour ago and the window was covered in iphone 3GS posters. You can only use O2 sim cards until you can use ULTRASNOW to unlock it, which will be added to quickpwn by the Dev-Team tomorrow.

Fact is dude, iPhone 3GS in the UK only costs �87. http://shop.o2.co.uk/update/paymonth.html
Mazuma Mobile are giving me �200 for my 3G so i’m getting the 3GS tomorrow. Funny, I upgrade and walk away with more money than I started with! Awesome!

where did you find out it costs �440, besides if it says unlocked, then be wary, because no one knows if it can be unlocked until its released on friday.

i went to O2 shope today and i asked them how much it cost the new iphone in pay as you go and they told me it cost �440 for 16GB and i am not sure about price of 32Gb i think they said �578

Just found the info. O2 Pay & Go You don't need a monthly contract to get an iPhone 3G. There are three models to choose from: iPhone 3G 8GB - �342.50 iPhone 3G S 16GB - �440.40 iPhone 3G S 32GB - �538.30

$699 = �427
so its only �13 cheaper in US, and also you have to take the delivery charges into account.
Not really worth it it in my opinion, just buy from the O2 store mate.
