*New Question* Will this work?

August 8th, 2016

Ok what i was planning on doing is this: Download a movie off here. naturally in *.avi. i got a couple episodes of 2 and a half men. then is it possible to use imgburn and make all the *.avi files into one ISO. then take that and burn it using Nero or MagicISO or something. then could the DVD play in a standalone DVD player. by the way i know which blanks to use DVD-+R. i just need to know if this method would work.
EDIT: Figured out i cannot do that thanks to .
*New Question*
Okay so i just used DVD Decrypter or DVD Shrink to rip a DVD to the HDD. Now can i just take those files and use a burning program to burn it to a DVD (blank) and then can i play it in a Standalone DVD Player

Nope, that doesn’t work that way actually but there is a different method. You can use software such as WinAVI Video Converter or ConvertXtoDVD to convert your files to DVD format. Then just burn the output and play it on a standalone DVD. However, if your DVD player can play DivX and Xvid then you can just burn the three *.avi files to a simple DVD disk without any need of converting it to DVD. You can get the programs I was talking about here:
WinAVI:

ConvertXtoDVD:

Good luck mate ^_^

yea i used to use convertxtodvd but got annoyed beacuse i got constant skipping in the DVD and the sound was missing or off sync. Last night i tried just using it to convert and the took the IFO files and BUP files and VTS files and tried to burn it using nero 8 and it wouldnt burn. it kept saying stuff about how if your trying to copy the files out of the Video_TS files then these are not the right files. what a good program to use to burn it other than ConvertXtoDVD and Nero.
Answer #3
dvddecrypter to handle vob files i think.
Answer #4
Like I said, WinAVI Video Converter is a good program to do it. You can easily convert several movie files with it and burn it later with whichever program you want, even with this program itself. Careful though, you’ll lose some quality if you convert too much to a single DVD
