a good to way to backup a server

hi i got file server running windos server 2008 that is my main server and i wanty as i add some new to the server it backups a the new stuff to my winodws xp backup server all help would be great thanks

you’ll need synchronisation software for that. see what google brings up.

yes what would be a good one to use beacse i want i want it to the main files on the server once it has backup it up to the backup server if i add some new files to the main server i only want it to back the new files that are not on the backup i dont wan it to backup the files that are allready on the server
help would be great

A software program that supports incremental backup over the network would be what you need.
There are many programs that do this. Some are very expensive and have an extensive feature set, while others are free and don’t have as many features.
Like said, try searching google and trying a few products out. Then decide for yourself which one will fit your needs.
