PAL & NTSC on Homebrew

Hi.
I was wondering if I used a PAL download WII game on a NTSC system and loaded it via HomeBrew off of a Hard Drive, will it work?
Just want to save myself from downloading 4 gigs and have it not work.

Only if you patch your system menu.
Startpatch or Preloader.
Startpatch is more realistic these days.

I hav a softmodded pal wii. I hav both PAL and NTSC games on external hardrive. All games run fine

I use Configurable USB Loader which allows patching for different regions, I can’t comment on others.
