restoring edited photoes?

I ahve a photo where some stuff is crossed about but in teh details veiw where it has a preveiw image it displays the whole picture with no editing, im assuming then i must be able to get rid of the edited parts on the photoe. Does anyone know how? or is their a program?

Sounds like a layered photoshop image (or another program that supports layers).
If it is layered, the yes, you can restore the image – you do need photoshop or paintshop pro though..

i tried in ps pro no layers it was also edited in mspaint but i can see the thumbnail image fine just when i laod it up it goes all wacky stupid blacks quares

Hey mate, you just cant do anything with the picture edited with the MS Paint because the Paint doesnt have the Picture in the form of frames. & next thing, you can see the Thumbnail of the picture as the original picture because it was the cached copy in the Windows. Just right click the Picture & click on the Refresh Thumbnail, you’ll get you new picture on thumbnail.
