i need it o be quiet which is why ive selected the fractal case. Im not going to overclock now but i will later. WHich psu should i include i want to upgrade to a graphics card later and im not sure if 530w will be enought to overclock and use a high powered grahpics card. im just going to buy a cheap £10 hard drive off ebay til the prices go down and i have a 1tb exernal as well. Have i missed anything and please comment on the build. [/code]
What graphics card do you have at the moment? and if you’re planning to overclock in the future you should invest some money to get a aftermarket cooler eg. Cooler Master Hyper 212

i dont i have a laptop. Im just going to use the integrated graphics until i can get enough to get a graphics card. And i dont need to overclock now i figured il buy it later and try and get my hdd and grahpics card first 🙂 thanks

oh sorry i thought u meant 2x2gb. Theres no point because i dont need and im trying to save money to get a good grahpics card and hard drive. Will upgrade later though 🙂

also alot of cases are quiet so im not sure why your getting a dear case for.

You want the case to be quiet but you’re considering a CX 600?. If you want a truly quiet system spend a bit more and get the Be Quiet L8 530W. The one you linked is an L7 and is an old platform.

thank you for some useful advice!! im not sure about a modular though it seems a lot more complex than a standarc Would 530w be enough for overclocking and a decent graphics card such as the gtx460? thanks

Decent PSU. Based on the Epsilon 85 Plus platform by FSP (99% sure). I’d take the modular one though.

safe man you helped me a lot would have been pissed off if i got a really loud or old gen psu. Im gonna get that
Man I so wish we had Be Quiet stuff over here. There’s nothing that’s really comparable to them except maybe Enermax but even their fans spin considerably under load.

They’re not available stateside. I do have an account at BongoUS with a European PO box but it’s expensive getting stuff from EU.
