Add friends on steam?

Is it any way to add friends on steam if you haven’t bought a legit game to steam?

nope. steam made it so you have to buy a game/activate a game to add/chat with friends. there’s plenty of alternatives for chatting with friends, so it’s not really a big deal.

I activated my steam account with a zerogear beta thing. I activated two accounts one for my laptop and 1 for my pc
