August 2nd, 2016
Come on people, someone, help me out please
Depends on how big the file size is and how long is the move is. A standard dvd can hold up to 4.2gbs of memory and 120 mins.
use dvd2one if im not mistaken it will compress it to fit for you if not use dvd2one to make an iso image mount the big iso using dameon tools use clonedvd to encode it to 4.7g and your done…good luck..if you need a walk thru…donwload the programs and ill walk you through it…

hmm xilisoft does it great my problem is the menus don’t load up I can burn up to 2 movies on 1 disc close to 4 hours I’ve used nero 7.5.1 and nero 8 both can do it good but the problem with nerovision is the transcoding bugs you might get after awhile of making DVD’s its a pain i tend to make DVD images and burn for later…
nero 8 has cool menus that sometimes get in the way of loading some dont work…
Xilisoft is great besides menus ohh and it only support stereo 2.1 unless you convert videos to 5.1 your burning 2.1 but it works haven’t had 1 failure yet like ZERO…
But i still use nero for the DIVX DISC drag brop and burn em for PS3 or DIVX device is your best bet saves you tons of coding and probably hours spent on burning, DATA disc takes 10 min to burn or less can’t beat 6 movies on 1 disc depending on size of files remember 4.4 GB limit
Oh yeah Nero both versions 7.5 and 8 support transcoding to PS3 or Xbox360 nero 8 tends to be a memory hog I only have a P4 28 with 2GB of ram and 160gb 500gb and a 320gb HDD the 320 is external would be nice I dell added more SATA ports in box but nope it does an ok job for me…
You can burn it as data dvd. You can put 4-6 movies on it at a time depending on how big the avi file is. I wouldn’t reconmend it if your dvd player doesn’t support the data dvds. Unless your just storing it away for times you want it back on your computer then you can do so.
With the money you’ll save on DVDs you’ll no doubt be able to pick up a cheapy divx compatible dvd player.
