Need HELP on flashing new Xbox DVD drive

I have spent many hr’s looking at youtube vid’s and the web
and for some reason it’s not making my brain cells get the info
I need to flash my Samsung drive ..
Been looking for the .bin file for 2 days knw ..

it is quite complicated i myself dont want to even try it yet until i know 100% of it all.

This is were I am at as I did not even now u had to flash a new one
and picked one up off of Ebay and it did not state it needed to be flashed
and of course all my grand kids are here for a week and already board

Easiest way is to exchange the PCB board from your old disk drive on to your new one ,it contains the compatibility key to let it be recognized
by the main board.[It has to be the same type drive model]

Problem is I had a BenQ in one and got a Samsung — Will re-vis.
Jungle flash .. I have it – but am SOO scared of bricking this new drive

OK, I see your problem ,read this articles and see if it will get you where you want to be .,half way down the page the is a link to a PDF document on using Jungle Flasher Software plus a list of what you need

I would try this if I could make sure the firmware for my Samsaug was
right .. flashed many things in my days – but I am maybe dumb as to
wht .bin I need for my dvd drive
