Ipod touch help

I am a new user to the ipod touch, and i just downloaded itunes, i just downloaded applications and music to put on the itouch but i dont now how to transfer the stuff on to the itouch through the computer please can someone help me thanks a lot can u please give me a step to step simple instructions thank u again

* Start iTunes, and connect your iPod. A screen showing the details of your Touch should show up on iTunes. There, at the bottom, check the box “Manually manage music and videos”.
* After you’ve downloaded your music, go to File (in iTunes) -> Add file to library(Or folder, if you have downloaded an album).
* Now, the song(s) should be in your music library. You can access that by clicking on the Music tab on the vertical menu on the left hand side of your iTunes window. * Now, simply drag that song and drop it into your iPod. (That is, there should be a new tab showing the name of your iPod on the left hand side. Drop it into that.)
* To install applications, first download them from AppStore. Next, connect your iPod to the computer AFTER DOWNLOADING. This is the easiest way, and the Apps will sync automatically. * If you want to install apps that you have already downloaded, click on the iPod tab (Again on the left hand side bar), and open the Applications tab. Check all the applications you want, and click on Sync.
