playing downloaded console games

I don’t understand how this works, does the xbox or PS3 have to be modded to play downloaded games?
where do you take a system to be modded if it has to be modded?

The xbox360’s drive has to be flashed, just ask around at your school or with your friends, i’m sure somebody will know “some guy” that can do that
for the ps3 there is no mod, the only “working” hack is by geohot but it hasn’t been made public yet

I’m not exactly sure but I think you must have a modded system to play downloaded games. You usually send them into places from a websites (would not suggest) or you can look for tuts online. My friends have done theirs themselves. Also, you must burn the downloaded game to disk and run on your modded system to play them. Again, not exactly sure. I would google it.

you can easily flash your own 360 drive, you just need a compatible VIA chipset, a tool to open your 360 and a bit of time.

ps3 has not been hacked yet.
xbox 360, you can pay someone to do it, use craiglist (its online web ads) but be warned if you hack your xbox 360 you will be banned (they will blacklist your xbox 360 motherboard so you cant play online games).

There’s a new firmware for Liteons that is currently protected against checks. For how long nobody knows, but still.

would you really want to play downloaded games and risk getting your xbox 360 bricked? i think its still better to buy console games instead. But for pc…sure go for it

though i’m not sure i want to play online because you have to pay, heck that is why i want to mod the xbox so i don’t have to pay for games lol
