Need immediate help

i was scanning my laptop by nod32 smart security it found some files and delete them after cleaning when i finished my scanning then i opened my computer and tried to open any drive it asked me by which programme you want to open it just like that when we right click on audio or video file and use open with this programe i don’t know which file it has deleted and what to do.please tell me if anyone know that. Thanks for your time.
the file associations mightve been messed up after the cleanup
I feel a OS repair using the OS setup disk should repair the problem
Instead of the above I’d recommend re-installing the OS to get rid of all traces of the trojan/ virus, just make sure u back-up imp data if u decide to go in for that option.
