i hope that i have half of your hope in getting it back
I've lost my rapidshare account in an unknown sequence .. the thief had change the password and the email ..so is there any way to get it back ..it's one year account for god sack..i can't imaging i've lost it any help here.

Sounds like you got phished.
You have to supply them your paypal that you paid for it , What i mean by that is paypal Reciept
this happened to me a couple of months ago contacted rapidshare support@~ Dead file host ~
and they got it back for me i have since changed the pass to many numbers and didgets and locked it so if it does get stolen they cant change the password etc anyway hope this helps

i sent them 3 messages with my contact information such as my first account name and the date and time of my account and so just i don’t have paypal no cause i’ve took it by reseller but i hope it’s fine they just don’t answered till now that kinda wiered ..but can any one tell me what is the phishing cause now it’s all comming to my mind it’s all started when i open the IE and i found alot of ads come out (i don’t use IE)

do you remember what reseller you used?
some of em have a password recovery page or a secret key scheme
(some resellers send you a secret key when your account is created,
to be used for password recovery)
edit: phising means fake web sites
that are intended to grab the data you provide em
i.e account info
phishing is just kind of stealing your info from certain sites, sometimes people can make a site to look the way they normally do and screw you over because you enter your info and what not and then they steal it to use as their own info and change everything on it and screw ya over because that site wasnt protected in a good site protection

the thing is that was happening from a thread here in the forum so the second question of the day how i avoid that in the future?
I can assure that the reseller can reset your password in few seconds contact him its not a big issue.
yeah (wirdName) it happen for me that i sent a message to the reseller and he reset every thing thank you all of you no thanks for the rapidshare till now:)

If you want to pm the account number I can put it in a brute forcer for you and try to steal it back. But chances are if someone stole your account they know to change the pass to a pretty difficult one to crack.
