has youtube gone widescreen?

when viewing a video it is not square is youtube going ws now?

Yeah, it’s awesome for widescreen videos, but normal videos now have black on both sides of the vid.

I herd on the radio before, apparently they have had heaps of complaints over the years about the size of their players and have finally done something about it… Btw C4 is TV channel in NZ (if you didn’t know that already)
