Help with downloading multiple RS links?

August 2nd, 2016

I have a premium rapidshare account. Is there a more efficient method of downloading large groups of .rar files besides having to copy and past like 70 links and go through the whole process?
Answer #1
use a download manager like IDM (internet download manager) or flashget

yup and then select all links and right click on links and click download all with idm
Answer #3
Pick Jdownloader Less people report problems with it. and it has “flashget” build in. + alot of other features. ill tell u short what it does for me personaly as ive set it up,.. I copy the links i want and then it does the rest. It downloads. Unrars. Places the contnent from the rar in a folder it names according to the files.
And then it deletes the rars. So as an example i copied all links from Conan O’Brien. What i got when it was done was folder named Conanobriens01e02 and so on with the video file inside. . . So i really cant see why people argue and say they dont like it. So damn easy.

+1 to jdownloader. it’s the best download manager but it runs on java so your computer might have troubles with it if it doesn’t have that much RAM
Answer #5
I tried the internet download manager thing, but I can’t get it to work. I highlighted all the links on the forum and right clicked and downloaded with idm and then pressed ok, but nothing is happening…I don’t really understand how it could know that you have a premium RS account either?
Answer #6
Use Jdownloader. I posted alternative links for it here since the ones at its official site may not work well with everyone.

first did u put your rs premium details in IDM? Downloads>Options>Site logins, add ~ Dead file host ~/ and your username and pass
when u copy all those links and then click ok make sure u click on start download queue on IDM and then it should start downloading

That might be true for you, but I don’t think I have ever had to do anything other than highlight the links and select “copy” for Flashget to queue them.

I was gonna make a “help me” topic on IDM but seems like this post will be fine.
What’s the current and latest IDM version? Also, is there a way to download the files with .html behind them instead of downloading web pages?

Yes, just remove the .html from the end of the link

Tried it but doesn’t seem to work. It will only download web pages.
Paste the links to a txt file and save to desktop, then go to tasks in IDM -Import- From text file....guide it to txt , hit ok, then start queue
Tried that too but it gets corrected when it contacts the files download server and turns back too web page.
Have you tried Cryptload?
No, is it any good?
