how to use my pc as a wake up alarm ?

while i searched google i saw that it can be done but the computer must be running for it.
i want my computer turned off while i sleep because i cant sleep with the noise it makes, so i want it so boot at a certain hour and start waking me up, is this possible?

Does your BIOS have “Wake On Time” or similar?
You just could do that and put a music file or playlist into autostart.
