How can I use its hdd for hacked games?

u have to be on system software 3.55 or below. if not then u will need to downgrade to 3.55 so u can apply a CUSTOM FIRMWARE!, rogero v4.30 being the latest one if ur just after backups, also, to downgrade YOU NEED TO PURCHASE A HARDWARE FLASHER! THERE ARE NO SOFTWARE SOLUTION AS OF NOW!, if ur a noobie i suggest u find someone who can downgrade it for u.. so since u said urs is a slim, u would be in NOR category, NAND for ps3 phats!

then when u have system requirement just download the latest rogero cfw 4.30

yep, u can use internal or external (internal is ps3 HDD) external if u have portable/external hardrive for addtional games..
