downloaded & installed Crysis3 Black Box version but getting error: “You need a DX11 capable GPU to play Crysis 3”

Does your GPU supports DirectX 11.

lets go through what it says and explain.
"You need a DX11 capable GPU to play Crysis 3"
what its saying is
you need a graphics card capable of Direct X 11 to play crysis 3. i cant make it any simpler then that im afraid.

NO, NO YOU SIMPLETON. It is about the THEME and SEMIOTICS of the error. What does it MEAN to lack a capable GPU?
Try following these directions.

Yes..It’s as simple as that..
If your graphics card don’t support DX11..Then that error will pop up if you try to run the game..

considering it says you need a DX11 GPU. then im quite certain he doesnt have a DX11 GPU. you cant use DX11 with a DX/10/10.1 card.
OR
hes on Windows xp/vista.
he wouldnt need to install DX11 on W7 as its already their + im quite certain he would have updated his drivers at least once
