Batman Arkham City and Games for Windows Live

As the topic suggests,those two just won’t work together.
I downloaded ‘ release and tried reinstalling gfwl countless times,the home button still won’t upon gfwl interface and let me save the game.
I tried googling a bit,and saw a solution was to delete xlive.dll from the binaries folder,but I didn’t have the file in there.I also tried copying XLiveServices.dll and still it won’t let me make a local profile.
I also tried some other cracks,none of which worked,some even crashed my game.
The install of the game went smoothly,and gfwl did too(I made sure every time it was a clean install with no files leftover from before),and I tried installing BAC first then GFWL,and the other way around,didn’t matter;it still didn’t let me make a local profile.
Any workarounds?

sorry you are having troubles. You have a common problem.
try this:
1-go to add/remove programs
2-delete all entries of games for windows live. you may find 2 or 3
installs. You want to remove the software off your system
3-reboot
4-go to Microsoft and get he lastest client version of games for windows
live and install.

5-launch batman and when you get to main menu, you should get
the windows live drop down. or hit the HOME KEY
is yours a euro keyboard??

Yes,I am from Serbia,however I use the English(United States) language settings,if that matters.It is also a qwerty based keyboard.
I am trying those steps right now,will let you know how it went,thanks.
edit:Also,quick question,is it normal that there is no xlive.dll in the batman AC folder(I mean binaries->win32)?

i dont remember. Usually if you have that file, you may GET an ERROR
just to let you know. A “game of the year” edition has been uploaded
in the Games Forum. Better get what you downloaded, working first.
Game of the Year = contains all the Downloadable content

What was this file’s name please? It’s not on Billion Uploads any more, so I’d like to try and find it somewhere else (I’m having the same problem)
