All of the answers to your questions are in that search result. Look and read. The first two pages of results have links for both Mac and Ubuntu.
How helpful do you honestly expect people to be if you are not willing to even attempt to find answers that are abundantly available?
If you have a question like “I’m trying to share a printer from Windows and after trying all of these steps, my Linux box still can’t connect to it. What is wrong?” People get excited about helping. You put the effort into trying, it didn’t work, and now its a troubleshooting puzzle.

What is your router? you can use the router for your wireless printing
what is the printer? I have printer that the keypad on the printer did the wireless install for me. It was so easy this way. No cables, no software to download.

That assumption is incorrect. If you set your printer as a network share then it can be seen by other operating systems.

Or pick up a wireless printer server from ebay, don’t spend more than 10 bucks.

Hmm I just need for windows computers, not for mac computers anymore. I know about routers having usb printed support. As said tooth my printer does not support wifi. I have a netgear wnr2000 and epson workforce 320 printer.
Answer #7
Then you can just share the printer and point the other clients to \\yourcomputersname\printer

I get this when trying to do printer sharing over a vm. Image
Answer #9
You need to give it a smb share name for the printer that just points to the computer (and you need to use the host name unless 10.0.0.8 is statically assigned to the print servers nic)
\\yourcomputersname\thenameoftheprintershare

Say what? What do you mean by the name of the printer share? I am using the windows home group on windows 7 and I can get my windows 8 laptop to print via the home group but not by the windows xp virtual machine as I don’t know how to make it join the home group.
Answer #11
That’s because homegroup didn’t exsist until windows 7. If you just share the printer it should ask you to give the share a name then you can just point any clients there regardless of their homegroup membership
