[SOLVED]GTA IV Lagging

I reinstalled my win from vista to 7 and I deleted my IV, now I downloaded the same one but is lagging like hell, I put everything to Minimum, i have resource usage 298mb/490mb, I have Geforece 8800gts and Intel core 2 duo 2.66ghz and 4gb ram, i installed newest drivers

GTA IV is badly ported and your specs are not that great , BTW since you got 4gb ram do you have a 32-bit os or 64 ?

I have 64-bit, and I had this version of IV on my old Win Vista and it worked smoothly on Medium graphics withour laging, I had 64 bit win Vista before

Try disabling anti virus but disable internet before or update driver on Nvidia

I have the latest driver, and I reinstalled my Win 2 days ago, so there wont be many viruses

The game is not badly ported…It runs with brilliant graphics than the xbox ever dream of..
Try updating to the latest patch mate…Look up the GTA IV topic on this section..It should be still in the first page…

I have directx11 by the dxdiagostical tool, sure I did copy the crack
When I re-crack game and launch it, it says ‘GTAIV Fatal Error:WS10’

I think so. maybe it needs other crack but all of them are down or are multiplayer

I had that widows live error once..Altho the game suppose to install it manually..I had to reinstall..
Did you use Patch 1.0.7.0 – Razor1911?

The problem is with file msidcrl40.dll, i uninstalled my Live and copied xlive.dll into game directory, when i launched the game it asked for msidcrl40.dll, when i copied msidcrl40.dll into directory i get the same error saying ‘Fatal Error:WS10’
