Question about HD TV’s

August 8th, 2016

Don’t try to tell me these TV’s are bad or anything like that. That is not what I’m asking here.
I’m getting one of these two TV’s. One is LCD 1080p and one is LED 720p.
It will be used for gaming with the ps4. I will be sitting 3-5 feet away.
Now I know LCD is more expensive to power. And that LED is supposedly more vivid and clear. But is the full 1080p worth being on LCD?
Which should I get?
Thanks

Answer #1
I would definitly prefere the first one.
Because if you sit 3-5 feets before it. It’s definitly better to buy one with a higher resolution.
BUT.
In fact, the ps4 doesn’t support composit. And composit ist the only connection that is allowed by the first one.
So you have to take the 720p tv which supports HDMI.
Here for your Information:

PS4 is HDMI only

i rang them and even tho it doesn’t say it the 1080p one has one hdmi port but the second one has 2. so should i buy the first?
Answer #3
If you are buying 32″” you’ll never tell the difference between 720p and 1080p so don’t get hung up on that one,for gaming you need a tv that has a low input lag not always there on the spec list.To be honest they are both pretty old school you would be better trying to find a deal on a edge lit led instead try hotukdeals.com see if there is a bargain to be had there. If i had the choice of the two i’d pick the led every time.
Answer #4
I’d go with the 720p one, probably because you might not really be able to tell the difference on a 32inch
