New Uploader Looking For Guide or Tips to Uploading and Post

August 25th, 2013

So i want to start uploading for the community but not really sure of how to go about doing it. What i was wondering if there are any uploaders out there who have a guide or even just some simple tips on how to get started and/or the whole process that goes into being a good uploader. Any help at all will be greatly appreciated

Don’t spread infected Appz

For videos provide information about the video so that people can determine hardware compatibility, MKV header compression, GMC and audio/video codecs and container information can be helpful.
Expect file deletions and be ready to re-upload. File deletions can occur very quickly, far quicker than you can upload them! To re-upload you will need to change the file hash.

awesome advice ty^^ now i have the file uploader but i am pretty much a newb at making my own links and pretty much everything that has to do with this process lol. i do have a premium account with filesonic but ive yet to upload anything or make a topic due to not wanting to do it wrong nor copy anyone elses hard work. was wondering more about the whole process. and yeah i know its alot to ask
Also where would i find the aforementioned video information?

Make sure to stay with the more well known upload sites such as Filesonic, Fileserve, Wupload, and the most popular to free users Rapidshare and Megaupload. Also when uploading movies or tv shows to Filesonic make sure free users can download the file. By that I mean break it into parts under 400mb’s each.
And for the video information I think you just use “mediainfo.” Not positive though

File and Image uploader is about the best upload software, although it has a few limitations for the free version. It does limit uploading to some account and host types.
Find a decent image host for screens and any other stuff such as icons that some uploaders like to use.
There are a few mirroring sites which might be worth checking out. The ones listed in file and image uploader will provide a pointer but you will need to find a solution to file deletion and re-uploading, either my bANbUSTER program, F&I uploader hash change or a similar program. Re-uploading can be a big problem without having a server available to do the job and those cost money.
MediaInfo provides good video file information or Avinaptic2. Setting up your own custom file info using one of those, although I am not sure whether avinaptic can do it. It would take some time but might be worth doing.
MKV header compression isn’t supported by all separate media playing hardware so providing that info can be useful to some people. The same goes with GMC for XVid’s. Some video encoders don’t pay attention to such things which causes problems for some people.

I guess MM covered up everything
Before you upload, choose what you going to upload.. Rushing and uploading everything won’t help you.. Select one-two sections, upload there..
Make sure to use RS,MU.. Ignore Filesonic.
You can use z00m uploaders, RSM and Megamager for uploading..
For starters, you don’t need any server to upload.. Remote will do.
Well, nothing.. You’ll see how things work soon.
Good luck.
