Tracking A Cell Phone Number
August 1st, 2016
I think it’s this girl that I used to know, but I am not 100% positive?
I’ve tried some sites that offer cell phone number tracing, but they require that you purchase a premium package for their services.
Is there anyway I could find out the name of this anonymous call, or perhaps a way to pin point the location of the cell phone, if I could do that then I would definitely know it’s her, cause she would be a work right now.
Thanx in advance
There is no way.
^what he said.
wait, unless you have police friends, it can’t be done.
Why not just save yourself a lot of trouble and just block that number..Most modern phones have that option..
just dial the number & find out?
^he can’t if it’s an “unknown” number or “anonymous”.
^he can't if it's an "unknown" number or "anonymous".
I don’t think it’s unknown though as they’ve said it’s from the same number.

if the OP has the number, what’s the point of this thread? just phone the damn number!
just dial the number & find out?
I couldn’t agree more!
There’s no reason for any of this nonsense, Just call em back and see who it was!
If it’s someone you already know, Odds are you’d recognize their voice.

I tried on a few occasions to call back the number, an no one picks up.
Yet this same number has dialed me on two separate occasions an hung up.
Clearly, Whoever this person is, They’re purposely not answering the call because it’s coming from your number!
This is probably an indication that this person actually knows you from somewhere (Why would they purposely ignore your call otherwise?) Anyways, There are a few things you could do to make em pick up the call:
1. There’s a possibility that this person only knows your cell number and not your landline, So you could try calling em from your landline and see how that goes.
2. Block your caller id and try again, See this page for more info:
http://www.wikihow.com/Block-Caller-ID
3. Borrow someone else’s phone and make the call.
4. If you’re from the US or Canada, You could just call using Gmail (It’s 100% free for US/CA numbers)
Judging by the fact that you used the term “Cell Phone” (US/CA) instead of “Mobile Phone” (UK/AU) I’d say you probably are from one of those countries, But then again, I could be wrong.
^^Or be unknown yourself…

No voicemail?
You need to know people from “inside” to actually track a number. There is no other way that can be done.
If the number did not pick up when you called (using your phone that got the missed called) then there is no reason to not block the phone number. Dont pick up when you call back and no voice mail = not important and will be block in my book.

It’s ok! I think I will use spokeo, that is a primary trance site.
I should be able to find what ever listings on the person there.
I am waiting for some people on another forum to hit me back with a query on the numeber I provided them, in hopes to get a free search from some others that hold a account with that site.
If they don’t get back to me soon, then I will just do a one time search through their site, it’s only $1 I believe.
The only way is to contact your cell phone operator

The best they can do is block the number from future calling.
I wouldn’t waste your money on it mate.
It would probably get traced to some anonymous throw away phone anyhow.
As suggested, block you ID and call at some odd time (not straight after you get called)
Or use a friends phone..
Cell phone operators would not give info out…Would be strictly against privacy policy.
But they would investigate if you were getting malicious calls..or,as said, block it.

My carrier allows for a number change which is free from harassment calls, with proof of course. They will also do it anytime for a small fee. Which probably should be done anyway, working with IP PBX systems I know how easy it is to spoof a number, so if it is harassment blocking a number wont stop the caller.
